The Transition Rules provide the processes for certificate holders of the 2015 UTZ Certification Program and/or 2017 Rainforest Alliance Certification Program  wishing to be certified under the Rainforest Alliance’s new 2020 Certification Program.

To make it easier for certificate holders to understand what path they should take, we have also created this Transition Tool, which interprets the Transition Rules for specific scenarios, based on the type of certification(s) the organization currently holds.

The tool provides a shorter overview of what steps they must follow to transition to the Rainforest Alliance 2020 Certification Program depending on their specific scenarios. The tool is meant as guidance only. Before you undertake any activities, please check the Transition Rules in detail.
